Mud Gun A mud gun is used in a solids control system of a drilling rig, which is usually installed in a mud tank. It mainly jets  drilling fluids with high pressure inside  mud tanks , in a bid to avert depositing solid phase at each corner of  mud tank  and pump inlets and to deliver drilling fluids amongst compartments. Furthermore, it is usually used together with mud agitator. The mud agitator is used in the middle of the tank while the mud gun is placed in the corner of the tank. Mud Gun A mud gun has both high pressure and low pressure. The high-pressure gun is powered by the discharge branch by mud pump, pressure stage is 1 to 6 MPa. The low-pressure gun is powered by a centrifugal sand pump, pressure stage is  0.2 to 0.3 MPa. The mud guns quantity is determined by mud agitators quantity.    Mud Gun Benefits & Features; 1.
