Mud Gun A mud gun is used in a solids control system of a drilling rig, which is usually installed in a mud tank. It mainly jets  drilling fluids with high pressure inside  mud tanks , in a bid to avert depositing solid phase at each corner of  mud tank  and pump inlets and to deliver drilling fluids amongst compartments.
